Sadly, I've done my best after eating 7 or 8 white castle burgers the night before - must have been a fluke. I noticed how food affects my vaulting just from away meets. I usually eat more junk food on road trips and haven't done as well. I come home and PR. Gotta love the home cooked meals.

Me and my friends call SUbways up and order a three foot sub before the meets all pitch in like 5 bucks and then run over there and go back to the meet and start chowing down

Those gyros outside the armory are amazing, if you have the chance to visit the armory, I highly recommend that you get one

I don't know if it is me conditioning myself or what, but I eat very little the days I vault. I always eat two pieces of french toast for breakfast, which I always have at least three hours prior to vaulting, and then very little the rest of the day outside of sipping on water. If I vault at night I will have a small lunch like a cup of veggie soup and that about it. I think I like feeling empty when I vault. I eat really healthy all the time, and I eat alot of food, but on days that I vault I just don't/can't eat alot. I feel alot more awake and powerful when I don't eat alot as well. My two cents...

PS. The whole French toast is compliments of B Mondschein. He got me hooked.
