Happy *8* Year Anniversary!

I forgot to mention a fews days ago that Pole Vault Power is now 1 year old!
PoleVaultPower.com got started Fri Aug 30, 2002 11:39 pm when my friend Nick Twaddel finally convinced me to sign up with his web hosting company and get this baby off the ground. He even set the board up for me, which took about 5 minutes, and this Message Board was born! The first 2 members, besides me, were my friends Vinh Chung (nzsprinter) and Dave Snyder (xtremevaulter).
Since then we have averaged 1.31 new users per day, 3.41 topics per day, and 30.55 posts per day. We have totalled 486 users, 1261 topics, and 11290 posts. I have personally posted 15.38% of the total posts on the board
Anyway thanks to everyone who has made this website great! Version 2.0 is coming...

Yeah I remember when Becca first told me about the site...I thought i would be the first member...but Vinh beat me to the punch...GRRRR just kidding. HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Yeah I remember when this Mr. Jeff Fairbanks guy told me about this site. He talked so good about it I decided to check it out. Glad I did!

Actually Donny, Fairbanks failed "Hooked on Phonics" as a kid and spells his name "Geoff" instead of "Jeff"

Pole Vault Power turned 2 years old about 2 weeks ago
We now average 1.33 new users per day (I am very proud that we have had such a steady rate of growth), 4.39 topics per day, and 37.29 posts per day. We now total 993 users, 3290 topics, and 27921 posts. I now "only" account for 13.45% of the total posts on the board
Thanks again to everyone who keeps slacking off at work, procrastinating from doing homework, and and otherwise chooses to kill time here!
