Is his first year at UNC, coaching pole vault and throws. In his three years at Clemson, he helped Mitch Greeley to a second-place finish in the pole vault at the 2008 NCAA Indoor Championships, the Tigers' best individual finish indoors ever by a field athlete. Greeley later qualified for the U.S. Olympic Trials. Greeley also was named the 2008 Southeast Region Field Event Athlete of the Year. Langley also coached three more NCAA Regional qualifiers in the pole vault while at Clemson. At Gardner-Webb he helped the Runnin' Bulldogs win the 2006 Men's Atlantic Sun Conference Championship. Both his men and women vaulters set new conference records both indoors and outdoors while Kelly Bridges advanced to the NCAA Regional Championships.

Rusty has coached fifty-two SC High School League State Champions, eight National Champions (six different vaulters) and three “Team USA (World Team)… in just eleven years. As a collegiate coach at South Carolina, Rusty coached seven SEC Championship scorers in two seasons, as well as 2006 NCAA Indoor All-American Cheryl Terrio.

Chase Shealy, Assistant Guest Coach
Chase while in high school was a two-time National Champion, set Nike Indoor and Adidas Outdoor national meet records…first over 17’ 0” at each meet. Chase had a high school personal best vault of 17’ 1”.
