ARIZONA STREET VAULT!!!

Unread postby Martin » Wed Jan 30, 2008 2:21 am

Alright, Basically I'm trying to start a street vault in Arizona.

I need some help with finding sponsors to building a raise runway and to pay for the permits to pull the event off.

Anyone have any ideas or would like to help let me know please.

It will be in Casa Grande, Arizona right in between Phoenix and tucson.
Right down old main street. Casa Grande has lots of people in it with nothin to do and the crowds could get pretty big if publicized correctly.

It'll be an awesome if pulled off... Hopefully right after nationals for everyone

Start looking for sponsers right now. It takes time and convincing. Make sure you get the meet USATF Sanctioned (allow 3-4 weeks to get paper work processed), that way the marks will count and it will take care of any liability insurance. My last piece of advice is to get numerous volunteers. Setting up a street vault is a tremendous amount of work especially the night before. There is a lot of heavy lifting. If you plan on jumping at all you need a crew that knows what they are doing to help get the mats, runway, blockades, etc. all ready to go when the meet starts. Send me a pm if you would like more info. I hosted a pretty successful street vault last year. Many people on PVP were able to come and I think everyone had a pretty good time.
