Does anyone else have this problem? or is it just me?...

I cleared 12'6 from my 4 step on a shorter pole (at least a foot down from my competition grip and simply striding down the runway)
But then when I go back to my 6/7 steps, I could barely clear 13', holding about a foot higher at full speed... (i'm not looking at the bar or anything)

The other day, I cleared my PR from my 4 step...

Did anyone go this problem too?? If so please help me out !!!
(My coach, other coaches and vaulters from other schools all said they wouldn't be surprised if I cleared 14'6 - 15' one day.......)

I'm the exact same way. I think it might have to do with us accelerating to our top speed rather quickly to the point that we don't need that extra run. Maybe it has to do with our ability to swing up easier holding lower too.

It could be that when your doing your full run gripping a foot higher that the timing of the pole is off for you and that maybe just try vault with the foot lower grips so everything works out i mean hey you pr ed at this grip height just work with it. i could be wrong but hey just giving my two pennys
