Underwater vaulting, rope vaulting, and trampoline drills are always fun.

I like standing on a scafolding or any other raised surface in front of the pit and planting my pole in the box. Then jumping off and practicing my invert into the pit. It is not real hard but it's fun. Rope vaulting is also awesome.

we call it "The Drill," and you do a normal vault from like 6 steps, but after you swing you turn all the way around the pole and land on your back instead of turning and pushing off the top. It's difficult to learn, but so much fun once you get the hang of it!

"Championships of the World" It's a competition that we play. The bar starts at 6 feet. The bar goes up 6" at a time. Everyone has to vault at every height. All approaches have to be less than 60 feet. 3 consecutive misses you're out. Your pole hitting the crossbar after you clear the bar is not a miss. Try it next time your pole vault squad if having an off day.

We use to jump off a gymnastic spring board! You could raise your grip and go for really high bars. Look out when the springs go flying!
I would much rather work with 100% heart and 75% talent than 100% talent and 75% heart!
