Hi I am a sopmore, I got thrown into pole vaulting by my coach last year, I am a hurdler and I have hurdled all through middle school into my freshman year. I cleared 9 feet this year as my best, I really dont have a coach that can help me and the older kids who vaulted have graduated, I need information as to the best pole, ours suck, training tips, weight lifting, and off season. I really liked doing this but i did hurt myself a few times, i want to know more. I qualified for regionals with my 9 foot jump but i want to get better any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

ask around and try to find a club or good coach around your area, that can make soo much of a difference in your vaulting.
