hey everyone, i know most people hate these kinda messages but here it goes...
i just started vaulting 3 days ago and i had my first competition yesterday i am a female wrestler and im built like a linebacker(no jokes please my dad makes fun of me enough lol) so yeah i can only make 5'6" any ideas on how to improve more i have the upper body stregnth but i need to train more out of practice...any one have any drills i can do at home....and one last thing..is 5'6" good for my 3rd day pole vaulting ever...i almost made 6 tell the truth here thanks

do u have a coach for pv or anything?/.. i say just listen to him.. he knows more than u most likely adn so he can help u

let me just tell this, although u may get great feats early in pole vaulting, there may be a time where things might be frustrating, but don't get discouraged and give up. i think pv is the hardest track event where skill and technique aren't built in one day.
