I am 5'2'' and am using a 12'6''120 pole and my standards are all the way back at 28. And it's not like I am jumping amazing heights, it is my first year and so far my PR is only 6'6''. Is there anything I can do to move my standards in that would make my vaulting better too?! Thanks.

Most good vaulters need their standards back to 80 cm past zero. The closest setting I see now days is 55 cm., and I see about 500 vaulters per season as an official.
Keep them deeper and focus on your speed and technique.
From a safety perspective, you will also help maximize your safely landing deep in the pit's landing zone.

31.5" is the deepest they go. It is not particularly desirable to have them closer. Right now you are landing in the safest part of the pit!
