I weight about 151 and i'm about 5'6 in height, and I vault with a 12' 156 essx extreme pole. I bend the pole pretty good, but how do i clear 12' with a 12' pole?

em... jump as hard as you can and swing like crazy until feet are behind head.... but if you do that you would probably blow straight through that pole, so hard to tell not seeing a video.
BUT... truth be told, your most likely not goting to jump 12' with a 12' pole. Because that is not your hand grip, that is the box depth + whatever your max hand hold is (not sure about essix). And you just dont have that much time with that short of a pole. Most people dont start really jumping too high over hand grip until the hand grip goes a little higher.

You probably won't jump 12' on a 12' pole unless you are really slow. By the time your technique gets good enough, you will be on 13' poles.

You can jump 12' on a 12' pole if it is 20 lbs over your body weight and you are able to have a clearance of 14" over your grip. Voila, 12'
