Bending the pole
Hey, im a 5'7" 135lb sophomore vaulter and I straight vault with my 13'6" 135lb pole. Can anyone help me to figure out the proper technique to bending this pole? I know the left arm is pretty important in this area, but that's about it. Help!

If you are not bending the pole, then I would guess you are gripping at about 10'6" to 11' max. If that is correct, then you are holding down 2.5 to 3 feet from the end of the pole. That will make it much less likely to bend than if you were to jump on a 12'4" (3.75m) pole with the same hand grip height. Depending on where your actual grip is, you might even go down to an 11' 6" (3.50m) pole. Of course, the pole "weight" should be at or above your own weight. This advice is to help with proper pole selection.
That being said, remember your goal is not to bend the pole, it is to jump with proper technique and energy and speed. When you do that, and you are on an appropriate pole length with an appropriate grip height, the pole will bend.

What master said. This thread is done.
"You have some interesting coaching theories that seem to have little potential."
