i am having the hardest time w/ pulling into my pole. i don't even feel myself doing it, but i do feel it stalling my vault. my coach has not told me anything that can help me. he says to just not pull in. can anyone give me any ideas on something i can do to fix this? it would help greatly, thanx!

It could be because your swing is not strong enough or you do not have the strength to get inverted. Lower your grip 6" until you can get your hips above your shoulders with your legs fully extended above your hips.

u mean that like ur bottom arm is collapsing, and ur hugging in close to the pole? i had that problem a couple weeks ago, and i just did a few days of just doing nothing but jumping focusing only on keeping my arms stiff, nothing else. it worked, and now im getting great bend and jumping 4 feet higher. remember to just try to keep arms extended and not collapse, dont worry too much about other form, except for driving ur lead knee and jumping.
