I think once you are off the ground you should find your feet at the top of the pole. This gets your head up and finding your feet will help you line up and invert. We use the phrase see the feet and shoot the hoop. The hoop is an imaginary circle above the top of the pole. This way our feet don't fall towards the bar and we then turn tight to the pole. Hope this helps
