Ok I get it, ( I Think) Cd, While I got you here, do you still have those $55 crossbars? How long are they and if I pay you for it now can you hang on to it till spring for me? SORRY KIDS, this short break in the "dum coach" thread has been brought to you by Flight Deck Athletics. Providers of all types of track and field sporting equipment. At an affordable price. When you need equipment, think Flight Deck Athletics!......We now return you to our regularly scheduled thread. Later....Mike

Bruce would know if this is a simple fix that might solve the problem. A taller heavier pole isn't as dangerous as a shorter lighter pole. It's like Becca said if you're falling off the pole, you're measuring your top hand down from the top rather than from the bottom. Take the new pole and line it up with the old pole and put a black magic marker stripe at the position that you held on with the old pole on the new pole (over the tape). That is where I would start on the new pole, or below that. Nice thing would be to exchange the pole for the right one, but I don't know who would really be interested in taking one back that even though it's only been on once or twice, it's still used. Just my 2 cents. Later.........Mike
That's illegal to do in high school.

Great News! I heard today that my coach is going to be moving next year!
Which means I am the unofficial practice coach for our team, the sprint coach will take care of the schedule and equipment duties
Its going to be quite a challenge-- but I still have this year to get through
