Pole Problem!

Unread postby bb12334 » Thu May 05, 2011 5:20 pm

So this is my first year and I am currently on a 13' 135 pacer mystic womens pole. I do not know the flex. I can currently jump 11 on it but am crushing it when i start holding higher than 11'6 on the pole. My school has a 13'6 135 pole that i have been considering using. However recently i have hurt my shoulders and therefore have been un confident when jumping on it. Henceforth I do not really get any penetration and it does not work. If i hold at 11'3 from a 4 step on my current pole where should I hold on the new pole, and also do you think a hurt shoulder would make a significant impact on being able to press the pole and penetrate.

I weight just over 130 pounds. I am 5'7, a boy. I usually run 4-6 steps holding from a 4 at 11'3, from a 5 at 13 and i usually do not run from a six but could probably grip just above that (this is on the 135 womens pole). My step is about 50' off of 4 steps, 65 off of 5 steps and over 75 on a 6 step.

that is about a two pole jump - but are your stage of development is doable --the 13'6 should work -- but you need to do what you have doing an inch up the grip
ps: Girls pole is a marketing hype - poles are not made differently for girls or boys
Plant like crap sometimes ok most times
