After months of work and planning, the club will finally be starting this November!!!!!!!!!
It's been tough locating equipment, getting all the licenses, and insurance; but as long as there is no disasters we will hold our practices at our brand new facility located on the corner of Lone Mountain and Cimarron, Northwest Las Vegas. If you are interested in joining this club feel free to give me a call or e-mail me.
We Are club #0505 Apex Pole Vault Club.

U guys have already moved back to 5 lfts? What was your guys progression to move back that quickly? There is a checklist I put together that might help you. Just search for my posts on it. It will help your progressions and keep your vaulters safe. I don't want to sound like a broken record, but safety should be your main objective right now not jumping high bars. That point will help you become a better coach and bring a good name for your club.

When are your practices? I would like to come check out your club if you don't mind.

I have been working with those few athletes for the past three months. I have really researched a correct method of progression. We started with one left for the first few weeks, as the athletes progressed and masters the basics i moved them back to two for another two weeks, then to 3 and 4 as every athlete was ready, and we have done 1 practice with 5, mainly getting the correct tempo with correct running form. I'm trying to get them to master the plant and take off at these closer steps before i consider moving them anywhere. My new kids are doing stubby stuff they havent even been on the pit at all.
Thanks for your concern and I'd love to have you come out and give us some pointers!
