OVER THE BAR — Sherwood sophomre Kathryn Mariman goes over the bar in the pole vault competition in the Bowmen's meet with St. Helens.
SHERWOOD — Kathryn Mariman likes soaring to new heights.
She’s hoping that those new heights will give her a new school record.
She’s already close.
Mariman, a Sherwood High School sophomore, has the girls school pole vault record in her sights. She came close to setting a new school standard in the event, despite cold, windy conditions, at the Bowmen’s Northwest Oregon Conference dual meet with St. Helens, held last Thursday at Sherwood High School.
