3rd Annual "Light it Up Sand Vault" will be held July 11, 2009 at the Shawnee mission Beach Volleyball Club. Please note the date change from flyers! This event will be run in conjunction with a Sand Volleyball Tournament. Bar and Grill in the facility, great lighting for night pole vaulting, Raised Runway, new Essx pit, drawings for free stuff....including poles! USATF sanctioned

Seven divisions will be run this year (subject to change depending on entries) Start time will be determined 1 week prior to event
High School/College Girls B 6'0" opening height
High School/College Girls A 8'6" opening height
High School/College Boys B 10' opening height
High School/College Boys A 13' opening height
High School/College Coaches division
Elite Women (following) opening height tbd by vaulters
Elite Men (run w/ Elite women) opening height tbd by vaulters

Contestants must present a current and valid USATF membership card or printed confirmation to be eligible for competition. USATF memberships are available at http://www.usatf.org/membership

Still taking entries! We will have a nice border war with numerous KU and MU college and HS vaulters. Event starts at 1pm....walkup will be allowed to vault.

Also looking to have a heated competition in the HS/College coaches division!
