Track & Field: Pole vault camp

Aberdeen Central will be hosting a one-day pole vault camp June 6 called “Raising the Bar” with featured guests, Sam Pribyl, formerly of Webster, and Mitch Greeley, former Clemson University standout.

Other clinicians will be Jeff Sahli, Central pole vault coach; Brett Deibert, former high school vaulter and Central assistant coach; and Pat Belling, Dakota Wesleyan head track coach.

The clinic, which will be held at Swisher Field at Central High School, will begin with check-in from 8:30-9 a.m. on June 6. The camp will be in session from 9 a.m. to noon, 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., and 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The clinic is open to pole vaulters of all ages. The fees are $80 before May 29 and $95 after that date.
