Excelsior Springs It isn’t often that a pole vaulter is on center stage at a track and field meet, but that’s exactly where Hannah Cooper of Excelsior Springs was last Friday.
Once she captured the attention of everyone at the Mineral Water Classic in Excelsior Springs, Cooper put on the best performance of her career thus far. She cleared 13 feet, 3 inches, a state record and the fourth best height in the nation this year, according to www.dyestat.com.
