Led by a record in the pole vault by Katie Veith (13-9), Homestead won the girls part of the meet with 138 points and beat out second-place Hamilton Southeastern’s 126. Veith’s height beat her own record, which she set last year at 11-6.

I guess it depends on who you ask. The NFHS might think so?

Tiffany Maskulinski jumped 14-0 last summer. I think Track and Field News recognizes Mary Saxer's 14-2i as THE national record.
