2008 Freedom Festival Street Vault
Evansville, Indiana
Friday June 27th, and Saturday June 28th

Celebrate 30 years of Thunder on the Ohio
This year’s 30th Anniversary Celebration will include our own version of Thunder and Air Acrobatics with the first ever Freedom Festival Street Vault

Registration
$30 per entrant before June 9th , $40 after June 9th. Entry fee includes participation in event plus goody bag of fun stuff. $15 entry fee per male/female team (not per individual) and $10 for Co-ed teams.

Spectators will be required to purchase a Freedom Festival button to gain entry into the area. Buttons can be purchased at the gate. Along with the vault competition they will be treated to an incredible air show, unlimited hydroplane racing and lots of entertainment. Schedule:
High School and Open Division
Friday June 27th Girls Division starting at 3:00 pm with the Boys Division starting a half hour after the conclusion of the girls. Approximately 6:00 pm. Starting heights will be determined by the field.

College and Open Division
Qualifying heights-Womens 11’ Mens 15’
College age and above not meeting qualifying heights will jump on Friday.
Saturday June 28th Women’s Division starting at 3:00 pm with the Men’s Division starting a half hour after the conclusion of the Women’s event. Approximately 6:00 pm. Starting heights will be determined by the field, but will be a minimum of 10’ and 14’.

In order to accommodate the time schedule allotted we will only accept a maximum of 20 entries per Division for the Friday Competition and 15 per Division on Saturday.

Team Competitions (Saturday only)

Awards will be presented to the first three places in each Individual Division and to the first two Teams in each Division. Team competition will include Women’s, Men’s and Co-ed Divisions.

By request we will have a prize for best costume in Men’s and Women’s Divisions on Saturday only.

Teams of same gender will consist of three members. Scoring will be based on the sum of the heights of the three vaulters from each team. Co-ed teams will consist of one female and one male participant. Co-ed scoring will be based on the sum of heights of the two participants. . College teams, masters teams, rogue teams are welcome. Team Members must register as an Individual. An Individual may compete on both a Gender Team and a Coed Team.

Bring your School flags banners and fight songs, let’s get it on!

Directions to Riverfront and Athlete Registration
Athletes must pre register, because of the limited number of participants allowed per division we cannot guarantee openings for on site registration.
Participants can pick up their passes at the Festival Office 135 Locust Street Evansville IN on the day of the event. Go to Mapquest .com for directions and type in 135 Locust Street, Evansville IN.

There is a free parking garage across from the Freedom Festival office.

There is no scheduled rain day. In the event that we are unable to conduct the competition on either or both days we will mail participants their participation gifts. There will be no refunds.

hey guys and gals... the deadline for early registration is coming up soon... so if you want to get your name in, better do it soon if you don't want to pay an extra $10 on the day of your competition!

If lodging is in question for you, i have an apartment on the east side of town and you would be more than welcome to crash at my place for free. I've got a 10x10 sectional and lots of floor space haha.

If you're flying in, i'll do what i can to get you from the airport. Just PM me if you need a room or a ride. This is the first street vault at the freedom fest, so we need to have a good showing this year.
