It would be a 13 + hour trip for me (About the same as it was to San Marcos, TX). But sadly, I won't be going. :( School starts 2 days later.

I have run out of tickets as of yesterday...............I am getting some more but there will not be time to get them in the mail................If you are coming in thurs nite.......I can give them to you that evening.

If that is an option my cell # is 217 721 1278......we will be in the fairgounds setting up 9:30pm

MY INTENT WITH THE TICKETS WAS TO PROVIDE THEM TO COMPETITIORS.......HOWEVER IN THE PAST I NEVER RAN OUT SO I GAVE THEM TO ANY AND ALL ATTENDEES (PARENTS FRIENDS ETC). IN THE FUTURE I WILL REQUEST MORE THAN 100 AT A TIME BUT IF THIS IS A PROBLEM I WILL HAVE TO RESERVE THE TICKETS FOR PAID COMPETITORS ONLY. WITHOUT A TICKET IT IS ONLY $5 A PERSON TO GET INTO THE FAIRGROUNDS.

Too bad I haven't touched a pole since May. Looks like a cool thing to check now that I'm in Indy...maybe next year.

You should definitely come by if you are in the area, even if it's just to watch!

Chip Heuser won the men with 17'0 and Sue DeNigris won the women with 12'6". It was a long hot day, but everyone had a lot of fun.

yes they were both there and i think swanson jumped 16'6'' and chris smith jumped either 15' or 15'6'' if i remember correctly. but the best part of the day for me was breaking my first pole!
