The question is basically the title. Just wondering how many Ohio vaulters we have on here (high school specifically) and what your best marks have been this year. What is going to get you out of regionals, what is going to win states??

The highest vault in the Columbus area this year is 14'4". I do not know much about the rest of the state other than 15'0 won the indoor championships.

I would assume the indoor champion would improve on his mark after some training. With weather in Ohio you never know what the conditions will be for the actual meet. I would say anywhere between 15' and 15'6'

There are a pair of girls in Columbus going 12' and a DIII girl at 11'
Set your goals high, and don't stop till you get there.

Yeah Bam, I know both the 12' girls, and they are solid jumpers, theres a third from Whitmer but she's in so many other events that I don't think she'll be a serious candidate for the title. The 14'4" jumper has now jumped 14'8". Hopkins has a great shot at winning this year (the winner of state indoor). I'm just wondering what will get out of our regional this year, we have a lot of solid jumpers.

I just saw a 15'0 from a Columbus kid at the Teays Valley meet today. He attempted 15'3 and made great efforts.
