I'm from Oklahoma but Delaware is not in New England, probably should go into Northeast.

Hey - I'm from Delaware and I've never undstood it!
People ALWAYS say/think that we're 'New England'. The actual region is the Mid-Atlantic, and it includes like MD, PA, VA, DE, maybe NJ - I cant remember exactly - but it doesnt really matter. Not like its that hard for us to look at the info for both New England and the Northeast to check out whats going on in the area.
Still though - its kinda interesting.

Jennifer Johnson pole vaulted 10 feet and seven inches for a pending state record. The record is awaiting DIAA approval.

But she wasn't able to receive her medal or celebrate CR's win because she left for a cheerleading banquet.

Boys Pole Vault: 1. Reed (Sa), 10-6; 2. Cona (Sa), 10-6; 3. Taylor (M), 9-0; 4. Thawley (WP), 8-6; 4. Tice (WP), 8-6; 4. Miles (D), 8-6.

Girls Pole Vault: 1. Johnson (CR), 10-7; 2. Bouchard (CR), 7-6; 3. McDonald (M), 7-0; 4. Hersher (P), 6-0; 4. Johnson (SF), 6-0.

Thats so sad...

Congrats to Jenn though! - I got a chance to talk to her when she was tying the indoor record at the Widener meet (I have a video of the jump somewhere...). Anyway, super nice girl - and I definitely think with only a few tweaks she could be jumping even higher - the potential is there for sure.
We look forward to more heights from her this season!
