Summer All-Comer Meets in VA

Unread postby JFvaulter » Sun Jul 01, 2007 9:44 am

The pole vault on the July 7th meet will be held at 11:00am instead of 9:30am.

Although the PVTC summer meets are sanctioned by USATF, the pole vault is usually very relaxed and is great for practice, competition, and fellowship. It will be officiated. Arrive early for plenty of warm-up jumps.

Registration -- $8 for non PVTC members, $6 for PVTC members, $4 for youth

PVTC pole vault at Langley this Sat 7/21

Unread postby cheezit » Thu Jul 19, 2007 5:12 pm

My kid would like to go -- but doesn't have the right pole.

Needs a 160 13-7 or 14. Anybody know how to find one for this meet ? Our HS won't lend him one.

There were several HS vaulters at the July 7th meet that may have a pole you can borrow.

I know a vaulter who is bringing a 13' and 14' 160. I am sure you can use it.

I am sure the vault will be available for those who plan to participate. I will not be available on the 4th, but I will definitely try to jump on the 18th.
