Inside the oval at the Wayne K. Curry Sports Complex in Landover, Collins will be running down a pathway and catapult his body above the spectators and participants in the pole vault. In Prince George’s, widely regarded as one of the nation’s premier areas for sprinters, Collins’ participation in the pole vault makes him a rarity.
