Fall/Summer Vaulting in Central New York

Unread postby skivaulter » Sat Jun 10, 2006 11:57 am

Does anyone know where there are vaulting facilities for fall and summer training? The closer to Syracuse the better. Thanks.

Yo I'm a vaulter in Section III too. I am also looking for somewhere to vault this summer. The closest pole vault club I have been able to find is in Ithaca. What school do you go to, Ive probably vaulted with you before? I go to Clinton.

hmmm yea deffinitly would know you. If you are in syracuse, the best bet is TCPVC, the same one pats talkin about. They trained the 1st and 2nd place girl finishers in Div. II this past year, as well as produced last years state champ Pete Thompson. Matt Scheffler is a great technical coach who i'd suggest to anyone.

I'm going to be vaulting for Ithaca College next year so could somebody give me some info on this Ithaca vault club? I'm from Jersey so I don't know much about vaulting in NY. If anyone has a link to their website or something that would be awesome.

Oh yea you werent at the Empire Trials.... hmm. Are you going to want to practice during the summer? Because thats what the sheet is about. My coaches email is msch0922@brockport.edu. Just email him and tell him you are a vaulter who will be going to ithaca, and you want some info on the summer camp. I let him know you would be contacting him already.
