Someone finally came through and realized NIKE is not the only company that can sponsor track and field.

now lets start going after other companies like Monster Energy and other's that traditionally sponsor extreme sports. That is what pole vaulting needs!

Kory Tarpenning worked several years for Redbull. Tim Lobinger was amongst one of the first to be sponsored. The stuff is quite terrible though and sales are banned in a few countries.

Check out what Gatorade is doing. They've introduced an energy bar to compliment the beverage.

Just sponsoring Trey and Lolo? I'm not saying that those two are getting "rich" or anything, but they're in the very top tier of sponsored track athletes in the US.

its actually not that bad for you in moderation. the most unhealthy aspects are the cafiene content and the taurine. im not sure about the sugar free stuff, that might be pretty bad for you. its only dangerous if you drink like 4 in a minute or one every day for months, then your heart gets screwed up lol.

but from a corperate view i think vaulters should definately seak out big sponsors like red bull and monster. pole vaulting is intense, people would like to see it on tv every once in a while
