I am happy to announce that I was able to interview with World Class pole vault coach Rick Suhr. He answered all my questions and a couple that were asked here on pv power. The whole experience was fantastic! Rick was incredibly insightful and I can't wait to return. Thank you so much Rick and Jenn for allowing me some great insight into your world.

I was simply addressing one of the biggest topics on chatlines right now (especially in the previous question on this board "Worst indoor season ever ?") which is the question why our American Men have been weak this year, so I asked Coach Suhr his opinion on issue and he disagreed and defended the American Men.

His exact quotes were "I don't think that our American men are not jumping well"

"We have some young guys with great promise right now"

"These guys are taking a hit that they don't really deserve"

One of the greatest things that I feel can be drawn throughout the entire interview is Suhr's most valuable quote - "Maybe were criticizing the very avenue that can get us there"

I think one young guy will make Daegu team. I will possibly go in this order:

Hollis
