5 days till the trials and Brad Walker took 3 jumps today in chula Vista at the Olympic Training Center. He opened up at 5.80 and made it on his second attempt then raised it to 6.00 and smoked it on his first attempt
and called it a day. Mackster looked good with a 5.70 on his second. I missed the girls jump earlier in the day but Stacy looked happy after her 4.70 clearance and a friend told me Mary Vincent put about a foot betwwen her and the crossbar over 5.50
If I get the full results I will post here but here are the guys as I remember them (unofficial) opening bar 5.40

Walker 6.00
Mack 5.70
Gensic 5.40
Stevenson 5.40
T Skipper NH
M Johnson NH
D Johnson NH
J Coover NH
Y S Kim NH
J Ryan NH

Nice pics Jeff! You should crop those a bit to get a little tighter.

Can't help but think of Bubka in the early 80's when I would go to the indoor meets as a high school kid and would want to watch him jump and my junior and senior years he took 2 jumps.... his first won the meet and his second set a world record, then he quit, I joked with my dad on the way home if he no heighted at least i would see him take 3 jumps. Brad looked like that yesterday
