I think it would be so incredible if someone from PVP made the olympic team. Just another guy or girl who posts. Sweetness

Hartwig's still in great shape for being as 'old' as he is. He just doesn't seem to break down like the rest of us.

Yeah, Ryland is that good.

We already have several Olympians on the board. Tim, Toby, and Kellie are all members who have posted before.

THEONE wrote:So this Ryland guy is really that good huh. Well I think it is very hard to say who will make that team, but what really is interesting is how everyone is talking up this Ryland guy to be the next big thing. I saw his video on the bell athletics website, and it looked pretty good. To say he will jump 6.10, I don't know. We'll have to wait and find out.

The reason why I put Daniels name up is because even with his 5.85 jump he is still holding back. He is still on a 14 stride run. I know he can move a whole lot faster, but I'm guessing he is learning to control it and if he does decide to open up that speed he's been hiding and move to a longer run, I think that it will be pretty exciting.

I think if Walker and Toby can stay healthy, they are the closest thing to a write-in as we will have. All thing said about Mr. Mack in this thread, there is still no doubt in my mind that he will be right there in the thick of the Olympic hunt.

P.S. Skyshark - nice avatar, where'd you get it? Haha...

Who ever goes for America will have to out the other 23 guys/girls that are in the competition (well actually 21 guys/girls). But I think that the height to clear to make the team will be over 5.80m (19' 0.25") like it was this past trials.

But what height do you think it will take to qualify for the US Olympic team?

I think Grandpa Bell will kick major arse at the trials ;)
And Jan Johnson will give it another go 'round.
And if he is still in good condition, Terry Porter will make the team too!
