What are you guys talking about? NBC definitely pulled through for the pvers this time around.
In fact, on the backstretch of the eight-minute distance races, I could even see pole bags! At times, you could catch a glimpse of the runway and, if you were lucky, see the front buns of the pit (!!!!) before they changed the camera location. We've definitely risen.

When they showed one of the distance girls taking her victory lap, high fiving the crowd you could see Russ talking to Tye. The poor girl had to run around Russ, he probably got scolded for that!

Oh yeah, on the way out I ran into Gibilisco and introduced myself and asked if I could see his colorful pole. He pulled it out and I got pictures.
He has tape with a giraffe pattern running vertically up the pole. It is a Spirit pole. There are some other details, I will explain when I post pictures.
Probably no one else besides Wes cares, but I am fascinated by cool looking wrap jobs, and I have been wanting to know for a year or so what the deal was with his.

Gio's P.R.

I think 5.81?
He is attempting 5.90 now. Wind looks like it is a cross tail.
Becca, Gio's P.R. is actually 5.82M at the Mt. SAC Relays. I confirmed this with Brian. I guess the results were wrongly posted as 5.81M, but it was actually 5.82M which the IAAF credits him with.
Are you stoned or stupid?
