Actually Jill jumped better than Stacy. They both cleared 4.30, but Jill cleared on her first and Stacy on her second.

I too was upset that Dwight Stones and NBC did not even MENTION her

nbc sucks at olympics coverage anywayz. they never have time to mention anyhting and the only things they want to mention are things they think "are of importance".

I wish they would show the whole qualifying round live at 2am, like they did with shot put qualifying and I think they have been with racewalk.

I'd stay up and watch it

so if nbc has a tendency of only airing events that have american athletes in it, will nbc air much of tommorrow's pole vault finals?

NBC definitely has the worst Olympic coverage. They televised mixed doubles badminton for over an hour last week and all they showed of the women’s vault was Stacy’s NH and the two Russian’s clearances.

That is the God’s honest truth. It happens to every vaulter. It's going to be alot less exciting now that there are no American women in the finals. It will probably mean even less coverage of the finals as well.

They showed more of the vault than I thought they would. They showed 2 jumps of Kellie, 4 of Stacy, and 1 of each of the Russians. Not that bad for a qualifying round.

We don't get any more that that because it's in prime time. That's good for the vault because it gets more exposure, but bad for us because we see less action.

I think (HOPE) it should get some coverage...........with the 2 russians being right in the middle of a world record breaking competition. If not, well there is always eurosport and the IAAF site. I wish I lived closer to Canada.............the CBC has awsome coverage.

I used to get CBC but then they took it off C-band. Don't know how I'm going to get curling during the Winter Games now . . .
