· Air Force senior Melissa Beerse, 13th at the 2009 NCAA Indoor Championships and with a personal best in the Pole Vault of 13’6 ½”, returns to competition after spending a year away from the Academy for family reasons.
· Air Force men’s School Record-holder (18’1”) and 3-time NCAA All-American in the Pole Vault, Nick Frawley, now training in Arizona as part of the USAF’s World Class Athlete program, returns to USAFA to open his first professional season;
o Also competing in the Men’s Pole Vault is 2008 NCAA Champion, Rory Quiller, now living in Boulder, is the son of long-time CU and Army coach, Jerry Quiller. Rory has a best of 18’6 ½”.
o 2007 World Champion Pole Vaulter, Brad Walker, has been training at the Air Force Academy all week but will not compete this Friday, opening his season later this Spring.
