Since Earl Bell has had 4 of the last 6 Olympians, has he got any new prospects???

I think he'll have several Olympians in 2012, but we'll see how many are on Team USA.

Please elaborate. From '08 I can only count two Jeff and Derek...but Derek was in ND but was associated with Bell long enough to be claimed as "his" so 2 it is. Who are the other 2?

I'm sorry. I read 4 out of the last 6 thinking they meant only the last Olympics. Now if it said 4 out of the last 18 I would have understood it better. Sorry.

littlebigboy1 was incorrect to say "4 of the last 6". I think the point of his post was to find out about future prospects.

Currently living in jonesboro

Daniel Ryland - 5.85m
Jeremy Scott - 5.82m
Mitch Greely - 5.56m
Dustin Deleo - 5.51m

Derek still comes in and out a lot.
Jillian is also living in JB again training full time.

And I will be moving down in May once I finish my masters degree. Its a really fun group here though. Real positive people and just an incredible training atmosphere.

Maybe he's counting the short times Erica (then Boren) and April spent there? I doubt that Earl would, since they spent the bulk of their development elsewhere.

Not to mention he has been training a couple people from other countries for the past few years as well. So if you want to count those too then that may be more if they made their teams.

Sorry it was 3 of the last 6. Men. Correct 2x Derek and hartwig. 2004 and 2008. Was really just wondering who was down there, thanks. Didnt mean to start a controversy.

No controversies on pole vault power, then what would we talk about? Anyone with talent who makes the commitment to work with Earl is a prospect in my opinion.
Don't count out Brian Mondschein who's jumped a 5.63 PR , and has potential to jump huge heights. He comes in and out of JB a lot and will be a full-time resident of the area after he's done with his Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering in May.

So Olympians that have
Himself 3-times 1976, 84 and 88
Jeff Hartwig 1996, 2008
Chad Harting 2000
Kellie Suttle 2000, and 2004
Jillian Schwartz 2004
Derek Miles 2004 and 2008
Ruhan Isim (Turkey) 2000

The dinner table think tank I'm sitting at tried to figure out how many times he sent people to worlds and we couldn't. But its a lot.

Hope this helps answer your question.
