4A and 5A guys should be a good show, as well as 5A girls (Go Jess)... Place all bets now! :P

I'm ready to see how Blake's mullet is coming along.

Its coming along nicely... But it will never be good enough to earn the title of "mullet." Any predictions on state meet Dev?

4A & 5A boys comp should be killer. At least one big name will tank though. I'll take my hometown boy Mathis in 3A. Probably the most athletic vaulter in the state. I'll go with the Battlin' Buddha from Buda in girls 5A. Is the headband illegal attire at state? I'd like to see the local San Martian do well in the boy's 5A...looks like the Duck kinda.

If the headband is illegal at state I am going to be thoroughly upset... With or without the headband, Jess is going to do awesome... Any smart money is on her...

hey...y doesnt anyone ever talk about us vaulters in 1A. lol its no big deal but i was just going to say that the 1A pole vault this year will be pretty good. there are 3 guys that all have been over 15' and that is not very often in 1A. good luck to everyone there and maybe some of ya'll will come watch us jump at noon on sat.

Heck of a good girl 1A vaulter also. Amanda Alley. 12'-6" a couple of weeks ago. And did this while competing in 4 or 5 events every track meet! And running cross country and playing basketball in the winter. Hasn't really had any concentrated training or coaching all thru HS

I'm all for rooting for the 1Aers. Most of ya'll jump in cut off Wrangers, boots and on aluminum poles. That's kick @ss. :D
