Sean-
What would it take to get the old site up again? How much bandwidth are we talking about? 2nd best pv site ever in my opinion.

Sure. I can't think about doing anything until next week when I get my computer back, but email me and tell me more.
I am so young... I never really saw the original Texas site. I vaguely recall seeing the Achtung site once or twice. It's not that I wasn't online... I just didn't start pole vaulting until 99.

It was also one of the very first. I remember it from when I was still living in the Republic in the mid-90's.

The first 2 pole vault sites I ever saw: The Pole Vault World According to Gus, and Achtung! Stabhochsprung!, the Southwest Texas Pole Vault Page - circa 1995
Then Vaultworld had its heyday through the late 90's - whatever happened to MrPoleVault? You know, the guy that gave great advice like drilling holes along the length of the pole to reduce wind resistance and carry weight, and putting a 25lb plate on the top of the pole to help bend it better, dropping it off the pole at takeoff? Ahhh, memories!

I had heard Mr. Polevault was in secret training working on some technique from short runs of somewhere between 9 or 10 left's
