It's Not That Cold Track Meet - Feb 13th

Unread postby ras » Mon Feb 07, 2011 12:28 pm

Info from the meet organizer:

I have moved the start date for the running events back to 1PM, so hopefully that will mean a little warmer. Special note, Kris Allison with Lone Star Pole Vault will be having a PV clinic that morning before the pole vault competitiion. Cost is $25 and class is limited to allow for more one one training. The revised entry form has a place for you to check off for the clinic, but I would like to hear by return email if you will be attending that. At this point, don't bother mailing in your forms. Just scan and email back to me. OK to pay at the meet, but there is no day of meet registration so need to have all the info in. If received via email by this Wednesday, no late fees will apply

Note these meets are open to all. Don't have to be a member of USATF, AAU, or any track organization.

Great Meet, Great Weather!

Highlight was 88 y.o. Adolph Hoffman. Cleared 7'0" easily. He took three shots at 7'4.5" in an attempt to break the World Record for his age group.
