New PR for Demi Payne at 3.97 meter or 13'0 1/4 at the USATF STX/Lions 18th Championships on 5/23/09.

Demi's jump is a new Greater San Antonio area record for the girls pole vault.



Jessica Cunningham tied her PR at 11'6 at the USATF / lions 18th Championship on 5/23/09 at Rouse High School in

Leander, TX.



Avery Jones a 7th grader set a new PR for himself by jumping 3.80 meter or 12' 5 1/2 at the 18th Lions Championships

Demi's 3.97 jump was pretty impressive. That youngster Avery, jumps like a much more mature athlete, for a seventh grader, he's extremely composed. "Old" Scotty Miller, former standout and NCAA all american posted a 15'6" mark.

Lots of excellent performances. Five meet records broken (all by over a foot!).
