Bret Harte High pole-vaulter Kyle Inks tuned up for the defense of his Mother Lode League pole vaulting title by breaking his own school record at Friday’s Gold Rush Invitational in San Andreas.
Inks, who broke the school record earlier this season with a jump of 14 feet, 7 inches, shattered that mark with a vault of 15-6 on Friday.
