haha, unless I can make it to Cali from leaving here in MA at 11:30 am on Friday, then sure...as long as I can find places to spend the night without having to pay, haha

can I ask why this isn't held in the summer when people aren't constrained by schools? I would love to be there. Maybe late june/early july would be a better time. Granted the surf will be small, but from what i've been seeing lately it doesn't look like it'll be getting to big in cali very soon. Hope y'all have fun! I"m jealous.

I can't seem to find the cost of the competition. Can anyone help me out? I'm thinking of driving out, but I need to check my budget to see if I can afford it.
Should I just call the number and ask?

its free! we show up typically around 7am, hang out get donuts/coffee. surf most of the day, then the 'awards ceremony' is usually at Sharky's bar/grill.
good times, long day. hopefully weather and waves cooperate. most years have been rather small (1-3' morning, 1-2+ afternoons), except last year was 8-10' walls

Got some pictures from the event. Everyone had a blast. Results are on Curran's page:
http://www.nolimitsports.com - hopefully he'll post his pics as well.
I forgot I had my camera until later in the day, but here's a few anyways:
