there was not 9 girls over 12, I am not sure how many over 12, i believe it was around 5 or so, but It was first jump over 11 6 which qualified for masters. Whitney Johnson of Mission Viejo High school ( trains with higher flyers pole vault club) won with a jump of 12 6, and had 3 GREAT jumps at 13, once she gets on that one pole about .3 bigger, we're going to see some HUGE jumps out of this girl.
On the boys side- Dustin Deleo of Los Alamitos High school won at 15 9, had 3 real good attempts at 16 3. Clay johnson i believe was 2nd, had some really good jumps at 15 9. Lots of PR's were set yesterday, Masters should be a great meet!
