I know this is an older article but just come across it. I hope I am correct in this but I used to jump in the all-comer meets when I was in high school with his dad. He was out of school and this is when the all-comer meets were held in husky stadium. He really helped me a lot with the competition and never treated you as a "young" kid, it was always as a competitor and friend. I can see why his son is having great success.
