From an e-mail I got-

Everyone,

It's official, the Indoor Pole Vault season is officially set to begin. The start date is Nov. 21st at Spokane Community College just off N. Freya and E. Mission. The time slot we were given by the college is 7:30pm-9:30pm, every Monday and Wednesday evening. Please go to the below web link and print the required forms and have them filled out and signed (I have attached them, but in case you are unable to open them, see the link below). Without these forms AND a USATF card, you will NOT be able to practice.

One thing that I did want to mention, there is a fee of $160.00 per athlete in order to join. Coaches, if you have a young athlete that would like to attend, but financially they cannot afford it, please come and talk with myself or Eric Allison. There may be limited sponsorships available for kids that truly cannot afford it. Our goal is to make this available for EVERY aspiring pole vaulter, regardless of class and social standing.

Also, any coaches interested in helping out, please contact me as soon as possible. There are some additional forms that you will need to fill out, and also ALL coaches must also have a current USATF Card for insurance purposes.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact either myself or Eric Allison.

Please forward this on to anyone else that may not be on my list, but would be interested in attending or getting more info.

Thank you, see you Monday at SCC!

From the site-

Top Competitor Indoor Pole Vault Development

Interested in staying active this winter and improve your skills in the pole vault, then come and join us at Spokane Community College for the Indoor Pole Vault Development Program.
This winter we have put together an incredible coaching staff with the goal to create a fun energetic environment and give young competitive athletes a place to train, compete, and improve their skills under expert supervision.

Practices will be held at SCC in Spokane, WA. The Facility is located on the SCC Campus, near the corner of N. Freya and E. Mission. The exact address is 1810 N. Greene St., Spokane, WA., the SCC PE Building is located around the back, the best way to get there is to enter the SCC parking lot off of E. Mission.

Practice dates will be held Monday's and Wednesday's, from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. The first practice will follow our informational meeting on Monday, Nov. 21st at 7:30pm. The last practice is yet to be determined, but will be sometime around the first part of March.
There will be some indoor competitions available for us to attend, these will be explained in more detail when the dates get closer. One major competition is the World Famous Pole Vault Summit in Reno, Nevada. There will be strict qualifying standards, but we expect to take a small group of people there for the opportunity to compete.

Cost to join is $160 per athlete. This covers all facility charges and SCC Class Fees. In addition, every athlete must also have a USATF Card. If you do not have a USATF card, then you can go to www.usatf.org and purchase one. The card is $15, and will be good from now throughout the remainder of the 2006 Track season.

If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU THERE!

Does anyone know of a place near Spokane where they do indoor vaulting? Like in Cheney, or somewhere in Idaho?
