Never expected to be shoveling 3"+ snow off the pit at the King's Invite!

Sucks that Eason got cancelled, but I know things were way worse up there.

This was the worst weekend ever.....

We had a dual meet at Port Angeles on Friday. Just as the busses roll into PA, the head coach gets a call that PA cancelled the meet because of snow (which there was none).

At Bellevue on Sat, they boys vault took 5-1/2 hours to complete amid rain, snow, and hail. We got about 3 jumps into the girls comp when the skies opened up again for good. They canceled the girls vault and the rest of the meet.

Since my guy vaulter didn't show up for the bus on Sat, I traveled 7 hours on Fri and Sat to watch zero jumps.

worst. weekend. ever.

weather

this could be the worst spring weather in recent history. For me, at least, it makes going to practice a real bummer, knowing that we probably won't get to jump that much (we dont have an indoor facility). We end up doing core strength and conditioning, but what we really need are some jumps :)
I feel like my kids are a good 2 weeks behind where they should be because of lack of safe jumping days.
