We had a new vaulter try out this week...anybody got a 13' 385 pound pole I can borrow to get him started with?

This was vault practice at Jackson High school in Everett, just north of Seattle on Wednesday, February 28th.

Definitely some die hard vaulters.

Snow-vaulter complete with Butt plug for the right eye and spike wrench for the left (cold hands could only pull one plug off a pole!)

Darn baseball and softball teams took up all the room in the gym and the drama department was rehearsing in the cafeteria.

Hopefully better weather is coming soon for Washington pole vaulters!

Same high school, 6 days later...Sunny and Warm (64 degrees)

Haven't seen the new vaulter the last few days...

Guess he quit.
