Stud jav thrower from my high school

Unread postby rainbowgirl28 » Fri Jul 16, 2004 3:08 pm

I coached him a little in the pole vault at the end of the year last year (his freshman year). I think he PR'd to do 9 feet at the league meet and place 8th. The coaches told me he'd be focusing on jav this year. Good call :P

He's thrown 212 feet this summer following his sophomore year of high school.

Haha well he hadn't practiced it very much or anything. He is a good little athlete, my coaches said he jumped over 20' in the long jump in like the one meet he did it. I think he ran on the 4x100 as well.

My freshman pr was 11'6, however, that isn't the normal for everyone. Pole Vault takes a long time to learn and develop for most people. Most of the people around here had trouble just making a bar and had pr's of 8 feet or below their first year, count yourself lucky mr. ghetto.
