We were notified yesterday via email that the Games are on and there are 23 vaulters. Looks like the storm is going just east of us (Houston/The Woodlands) so we should be fine in Austin. I'm driving in Sunday morning and will report back after the meet. Take care. Bubba

I looked this meet up several weeks ago-- I have a brother in Austin
so I'd be interested in a trip to Texas
but you have to qualify at another Texas meet to vault in this one.
So unfortunately--- it'll be another year at best.
Good luck Buba

That's true Prof, but they allow guests, AND give them duplicate medals even though Texans get the places. In fact, I jumped in the Maine State Games in June when I was on vacation. Keep in touch and let me know when you're in the area. Have fun! Bubba

Congrats to Bubba on his win today! Made 11'0 look really easy with a lot of blow all the way around - looking forward to coaching him at Master's WC's in 2007!
