Surf's Up Dude!! MASSIVE tailwind on super fast Mondo going downhill from the crown on the football field. Weather was relatively cool with very low humidity. The nine officials assigned to the pit were OUTSTANDING!! Biggest problem - blowing through every pole we touched. This unexpected surprise contributed to lack of huge marks as we were constanly adjusting steps and poles. You just had to go with your gut feeling even though it didn't seem possible. I hit the bar at 12' with my chest while I was still rising and the standards on 80 cm on a 1460, two poles bigger than I've jumped on this year from a 51' run. A VERY fun day!! Bubba

The tailwind was indeed smoking....so much so that I was using my "big" pole and it broke on one of my attempts....that threw me off a bit!
